tHe GrEeN BoY

This is a story about a little boy who cried Green! This little boy was preparing for his very last Band Concert in 5th grade. He announced to his family that he was ready to leave his home to attend his concert. His very Smart Mother noticed the attire he had chosen to wear for the evening: a green t-shirt, shorts & flip flops. His very Smart Mother, having attended previous concerts, informed him that it would be a wise choice should he decide to change his clothes to appropriate concert attire. The little boy went back to his room and then again presented himself to his family having changed his shorts and shoes. He informed his very Smart Mother that the band Teacher told everyone they could wear what they wanted since this was the last concert of the year. The very Smart Mother having already given the boy 1 opportunity to make his choice then gathered everyone in the automobile to head for the school. The very Smart Mother, Father, Sister, Nana & Papa obtained thier seats and awaited the concert to begin. As the children filed out of the practice room to take thier places the little boy in Green avoided at all cost not to make eye contact with his very Smart Mother. At the end of the concert this is the beautiful Smile the little boy in Green gave his very Smart Mother. The little boy in Green knew exactly what he was doing, he had a 50/50 chance it would work. That Smile warmed his very Smart Mother's Heart and the little boy in Green received a "Love Pat" and was called a little Stinker!
